Hand made Sanitary towels training programme

Many disadvantaged adolescent girls are unable to attend school throughout their menstration period due to the lack of affordable sanitary towels. Moreover, these girls (and also women from poor families) are exposed and often develop infections due to the use of unhygenic materials during the menstruation period. In order to respond to this challenge, SNDK runs a project to training the making low cost hygienic sanitary towels. more

Menopause training programme

Saidia Dada now focusses on menopause and anti-menopause age we target over 50,000 women all over the country to benefit from the programme. The targetted group is mostly poor women in slums and villages all over the country. We are targetting over 1 million women. The major topics are;

  1. What is menopause?
  2. At what age do women expect menopause?
  3. What are the symptoms of menopause?
  4. Why is menopause age important?
  5. Healthy eating during menopause.

Sexual and reproductive health programme

The objective under this programme is to address the specific reproductive health needs of young people and assist them to regulate their fertility without risking their health.more

Women empowerment

The women empowerment programme aims at assisting the women to play a full and active part in social and economic development. It firther aims at assisting them gain access to resources, become involved creatively in social change and organise self-sustaining initiatives.more

Counselling programme

The organization currently runs a counselling centre with future plans to establish a rehabilitation centre underway. The centre has professionally trained counsellors who offer counselling services to the youth especially on matters to do with

  2. Drug abuse
  3. Career guidance
  4. peer education and behaviour change
  5. Character building
